The Company:

A specialist company with a national footprint in multi-disciplinary heavy industrial projects.

Located in Newcastle, with 4 other offices across Australia, they require experienced and qualified Fitters / Boilermakers to join their team on a project in Muswellbrook. No underground work or open cut.

$60 per hour, inclusive of site allowance + accommodation, travel, LAFA, super, and more. Full-time opportunities are also available.

Daily Duties:

• Experienced, qualified / time time-served boilermakers or fitters with 3 years + experience.
• Primary / Main fan build, on a paddock next to the mine site (large flat-packed fans that require assembling).
• Experience in steel welding & fabrication, although this particular job won't involve high-end fitting.
• Laser alignment, previous experience would be advantageous, or learn on the job.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/designs is desirable.
• A high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
• Work is Monday to Saturday, 10-hour days - perfect for someone in between contracts, OR someone looking for full-time work.

What you require to apply:

• Must have a valid Order 43 pre-placement medical.
• 2 – 5 years’ experience outside of apprenticeship.
• Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Elevated Work Platform cert preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
• Immediate start.
