Position: Carpenter and Joiner

Salary: $85k-$115k (dependant on skills / quals)

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

Studying blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine materials required and assembly sequences.

Cutting, shaping, and assembling wood and other materials to construct frameworks, fittings, and structures.

Erecting and securing framework structures such as roof trusses, floor joists, and wall partitions.

Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings, ready for installation.

Installing doors, windows, floors, and other wooden fixtures.

Repairing existing fixtures and fittings as needed.

Operating hand and power tools to cut and shape materials accurately.

Ensuring compliance with safety standards and construction regulations.

Collaborating with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure project success.

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience as a Carpenter and Joiner.

Qualification in Carpentry and Joinery or relevant trade certification.

Strong understanding of construction methods, tools, and materials.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong work ethic and commitment to safety practices.
