Part of the TenGolf Group, Maylands Golf Course is a premier public golf facility nestled alongside the Swan River, offering sweeping views of the Perth city skyline and Optus Stadium. Our 18-hole, par 71 course is widely regarded as one of the most picturesque in Western Australia, attracting golfers of all skill levels year-round.

The Pro Shop is a key part of the experience, offering a carefully curated selection of leading golf brands, apparel, accessories, and equipment. RESPONSIBILITIES (Golf Knowledge Required)

Welcoming and assisting customers with tee times, check-ins, and general enquiries

Answering phone calls, managing bookings, and coordinating with all team members

Driving retail sales by actively engaging with customers and recommending products tailored to their needs

Promoting current offers, new arrivals, and upcoming events to customers

Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system for green fees, cart hire, memberships, retail items, and other transactions

Managing tee sheets and daily play schedule, ensuring smooth course flow and player rotation

Maintaining and merchandising retail stock, including receiving, displaying, and performing inventory counts

Ensuring the cleanliness, presentation, and organisation of the Pro Shop and front counter

Communicating effectively with course marshals, golf pros, and grounds crew to support golf operations

Assisting with golf functions, competitions, and tournaments when required

REQUIREMENTS AND ATTRIBUTES

Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

Understanding and knowledge of the golf industry

Must have a strong focus on quality to ensure customer satisfaction

Must have a positive attitude and good work ethic

Highly driven, motivated, reliable, and a mature approach to work

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Multi-tasking and able to work in a fast-paced team environment

Work well in a team environment

Available to work in the evenings, on weekends, and on public holidays

Minimum of one year of relevant work experience

Proficient in computer, Point of Sales, and MS Office
