ST Albans is a hospitality business operating four premium dining restaurants are in the heart of bustling James Street within The Calile Hotel.
About our venues:
Hellenika at The Calile - Premium traditional Greek restaurant.
Sushi Room - Premium Japanese dining.
SK Steak & Oyster - Premium Steakhouse.
Sunshine - Mediterranean eatery
We seek individuals dedicated to providing the highest standards of service in a contemporary, personalised, and relaxed manner. You must be available to work breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts.
We are currently seeking Team Leaders/Supervisors for Hellenika with the following key attributes:
Leadership and Team Motivation: A Supervisor must possess strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a harmonious working environment.
Customer Service Excellence: Providing exceptional customer service is a core responsibility. Supervisors should excel in welcoming and assisting guests, addressing their needs, and ensuring a positive and professional customer experience.
Menu Knowledge: Having a comprehensive understanding of the menu and offerings is essential. A Supervisor should answer customer inquiries, provide recommendations, and ensure accurate and timely service.
Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels, restocking supplies, and placing orders as needed to maintain adequate stock are vital tasks. This includes conducting regular inventory checks, tracking usage, and assisting with cost management.
Facility Maintenance: Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-maintained facility is crucial. Regular tasks may include cleaning, organization, and ensuring compliance with sanitation standards.
Safety and Compliance: Supervisors should adhere to responsible practices, including recognizing and addressing safety concerns and ensuring compliance with relevant local laws and regulations.
Multitasking and Time Management: The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and manage time efficiently to ensure smooth operation is important.
Team Collaboration: Collaboration with other team members, including staff, kitchen personnel, and management, is fundamental. Supervisors should assist colleagues as needed to maintain a positive work environment and ensure seamless service.
Knowledge Sharing: A willingness to pass on knowledge and mentor team members to help them improve and excel in their roles is encouraged.
Strong Team Player: Being a team player and fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment is essential for success in a Supervisor role.
