St John of God Geelong Hospital St John of God Hospital Geelong is a 253 bed hospital and is recognised as the leading provider of private health care in the Barwon and South-Western region. The hospital provides a range of services including an emergency department, day surgery, medical, surgical and maternity services, along with a 24 hour critical care unit and Cath Lab services.
Your Position at St John of God Geelong Hospital
You will be responsible for the provision of comprehensive patient care and the coordination and supervision of care delivered by junior staff and students.
There are multiple Permanent Partime and casual positions available working as Scrub Scout Nurse, Anaesthetics Nurse and in PACU. Hours will be negotiated with successful candidate(s).
If you are dynamic and flexible nurse, with outstanding communication skills and the ability to provide high-level patient care then we want to hear from you.
The successful candidate(s) will have:
Assesses plans, delivers and evaluates patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required.
Promotes and contributes to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital.
Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate.
Supports and supervises staff and students as required, including orientating and preceptoring staff.
Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives.
You will have a registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse, a demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
To succeed you will have an ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.

Salary $68093.58 - $96175.39 + 11.5% superannuation
