About the role

Join a small and highly productive team supporting the non-government alcohol and other drugs treatment and harm reduction sector in Qld. This role reports to the Director, Policy and Systems and will contribute to our policy submissions to government by developing literature summaries and collating data sources, as well as validating the annual collection of the AODTS National Minimum Data set.

Role responsibilities:

Undertake the annual validation and submission of the Alcohol and other Drugs Treatment Services National Minimum Data Set (AODTS-NMDS) from member agencies to the relevant funder

Support QNADA members in the collection of the AODTS-NMDS and prepare annual frequency reports for each member organisation

Develop literature summaries (including academic and grey literature) to support system reform activities are aligned with the contemporary evidence base and promote the specialised capacity of the Queensland non government AOD sector

Undertake analysis of data used to inform alcohol and other drug policy responses in Queensland to identify limitations and potential improvements relevant to QNADA’s policy advocacy

Support the implementation and maintenance of the QNADA quality management system.

About you

Demonstrated high level of skill in using Microsoft Excel.

Ability to ensure data integrity through demonstrated attention to detail.

Experience in working with, analysing, and distilling information from large and varied data sets.

Experience in project coordination and stakeholder liaison.

Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills.
