About the role

A Team Demolition is seeking an experienced Demolition Excavator Operator to join our dedicated team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on diverse demolition projects across South East Queensland. As a key member of our operations, you'll play a crucial role in safely and efficiently dismantling structures using heavy machinery.

What you'll be doing

Operate demolition-specific excavators equipped with attachments such as hydraulic breakers, shears, and pulverisers.

Execute precise demolition tasks on residential, commercial, and industrial structures.

Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal performance.

Collaborate with project teams to plan and execute demolition sequences safely.

Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations on-site.

Assist in site preparation and debris removal post-demolition.

What we're looking for

Minimum of 3 years' experience in demolition operations.

Proficiency in operating various heavy machinery and demolition attachments.

Strong understanding of demolition practices and site safety requirements.

Ability to read and interpret demolition plans and blueprints.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Current HR or HC driver's licence and Construction Induction (White) Card preferred.
