Your new role
Due to exciting new projects, Excape Group is rapidly expanding, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Excavator Operator to join our team.
This is a full-time, permanent position offers the chance to work on fun and meaningful landscape construction projects throughout Metro Melbourne.

You will be:
· Moving landscape boulders with a grab attachment.
· Shaping and grading land.
· Drilling holes, digging trenches and footings
· Collaborating with the team to ensure projects are completed to a high standard.
· Participating in ongoing training and development to expand your skillset.
· Maintaining tools and equipment to industry standards.
About you
This role would be perfect for someone who is passionate about the landscaping industry who is eager to take on new challenges in a creative and fun work environment.
To be considered for this role you will have:
· 3-5 years relevant Excavator work experience in a similar role.
· Excavator licence and experience operating a 6.5-ton excavator.
· Experience in trimming, loading and digging around live services, subdivision and drainage works.
· Current driver's licence, white card, and own vehicle.
· Willingness to work across Melbourne metro area
· Previous experience in the landscape industry (desirable).
· Heavy Rigid Truck License (preferred, but not essential)
· Sound knowledge of the Construction & Civil work Industry onsite OH&S requirements.
· Strong communication skills and be able to work both autonomously and in a team environment
· A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces.
· Strong physical fitness with an ability to perform manual labour tasks.
· Current police and working with children’s check (or ability to obtain).
