The WA Rent Relief Program is a 19-month initiative that reduces housing vulnerability by providing financial assistance and supports to households in WA’s private rental sector who are experiencing rental stress or severe financial hardship, particularly those at risk of eviction. This role will support the day-to-day functioning of the WA Rent Relief Program by providing a critical quality check function for rent relief brokerage applications.
This is a part-time (22.5 hours per week) max term opportunity until 31 December 2025, based in East Perth.
What you will bring
You will bring your patient and empathetic nature alongside experience in delivering person-centred, trauma informed services that are culturally appropriate.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Data entry experience and high attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously
- Well-developed computer skills and proficiency in client management systems
- Ability to be flexible, demonstrate initiative and work effectively under pressure
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of the range of service provision within the community services sector is desired but not essential
The successful candidate will ideally have flexibility to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) until end of 2024. They must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year.

- A competitive salary from $72,829 per annum + 11.5% superannuation
- Salary packaging of up to $15,900 (which equates to circa $4K after tax) plus additional salary packaging of up to $2,650 for meal and entertainment expenses
