Tackle financial exclusion and poverty head on by delivering face to face, small group non-accredited training

Salary between $99,344K - $103,839K inclusive of leave loading plus super, salary sacrifice, 6 weeks annual leave and other significant benefits

We are seeking candidates who:
Have lived, worked and delivered adult education in remote communities in Northern Australia
Are entrepreneurial, with the confidence to promote and secure business opportunities
Are passionate trainers and adult educators, who can tailor training to their clients’ needs and those of the environment
Value integrity and have a passion for First Nations self-determination
Are mature, open, transparent and inclusive
Want to work for a specialist organisation with a strong purpose
Key selection criteria:
Current TAE40122 or TAE401116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate IV in TESOL or other higher level adult education qualification
Demonstrated experience living and working in a remote or outer regional First Nations Community
Demonstrated experience developing and delivering contextualised, engaging adult education, especially to people with low levels of literacy and numeracy
Proven success in generating and securing new business opportunities
Great presentation, communication and organization skills
Unrestricted, current drivers’ licence
In your first six months, you’ll:
Undertake cultural awareness training and induction
Learn about our training and clients
Promote our training offer by networking with key contacts and at various forums
Deliver small group training in beautiful regional and remote locations
Enrol in and complete the financial literacy skillset (if you don’t have it)
Ensure administration is maintained to a high standard so successes can be shared!

PLEASE NOTE:
Remote work requires sound physical and psychological fitness due to the levels of intergenerational trauma carried by First Nations communities and the likelihood of staff exposure to acute or prolonged stress associated with community services roles in these environments. We do not recommend this work as suitable for candidates whose life experience includes significant personal loss, severe traumatic victimisation or serious mental illness.
Employment will be subject to a National Police Clearance, Working with Children Check, pre-employment medical check and psychological screening.
