Boronia Park Care Centre offers before, after, and vacation care services for Boronia Park Public School students. Licensed to accommodate 110 children, our Out of School Hours (OOSH) program typically sees an average of 90 children in before and after care, and 35-50 children during vacation periods. What sets BPCC OOSH apart is our commitment to providing a stimulating and enjoyable environment. We pride ourselves on meeting the diverse needs of children and families, making BPCC feel like a second home. Managed by a supportive Parent Management Committee, our centre enjoys strong connections within both the school and broader OOSH community. Our dedicated team is highly regarded and ensures a fun-filled experience for all.

Qualifications & experience

Accredited Child Protection Training consistent with ACECQA approved courses

Current accredited First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training consistent with ACECQA approved courses

A current Working with Children Check

No prior convictions under the Children (Education and Care Services) Act 2010, nor conviction relating to children or violence.

Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood or a Certificate IV in outside school hours care

Prior experience as an Educator within OOSH

Food Handling Certificate

Tasks & responsibilities

Work closely with an experienced and energetic team to develop a daily program that ignites interest.

Optimise resources to create a great experience for the children.

Have meaningful interaction, participation and supervision of the children in the centre for both indoor and outdoor activities.

Support the Nominated Supervisor in the delivery of a best in class experience to all stakeholders.
