About the Role:
GF Piping Systems (GF) is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Trade Assistant – Pipe Assembler to join our team in Brendale, Brisbane. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a mechanical aptitude who is keen to work in a dynamic environment supporting pipe fabrication and assembly operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the assembly and installation of piping systems

Operate hand and power tools to cut, grind, and fit pipe components

Read and interpret basic assembly drawings or instructions

Support qualified tradespeople and follow directions safely and efficiently

Maintain a clean and safe workshop or site environment

Load/unload materials and move products as required

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential)

Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Ability to work as part of a team

Basic knowledge of tools and mechanical components

Forklift license & EWP Ticket preferred (desirable)

Reliable transport to and from work
