About the role

We are seeking a Hard Sector Flooring Trade Assistant to join our team at Northern Concrete Coating in Cairns, Queensland. This is a casual role, offering the flexibility to work around your other commitments. As a Flooring Trade Assistant, you will play a crucial part in supporting our skilled tradespeople in the installation and maintenance of concrete flooring and related finishes.

What you'll be doing

Assisting tradespeople with the preparation, decoration and finishing of concrete floors and related surfaces

Carrying and moving materials, tools and equipment as required

Cleaning and maintaining work areas and equipment

Following all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

What we're looking for

Some prior experience in a construction or trade-related role, preferably in flooring, painting or polishing

Strong physical fitness and stamina to undertake manual labour tasks

White card and Drivers Licence Essential

Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety

Reliable, punctual and dedicated approach to work
