Due to continued growth and a strong sales pipeline, QMW Industries are searching for Trade Assistants / Labourers to join our Hi-Performance Operations Team.

About you:

Reliable and highly motivated with a positive ‘can do’ attitude

Good communication skills and a problem-solving mindset

A strong work ethic and able to meet strict deadlines

Ability to work as part of a team or independently

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Have a valid and current Qld Driver’s License with reliable transport

Have a valid and current Qld LF Forklift License

Confined Space Ticket an advantage

About the role:

Assist with the assembly, strip and/or fit-out of various products

Spotting for trades performing confined space fabrication and welding work

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to manage parts and raw materials

General workshop duties including maintaining consumable stock levels

General yard duties including wrapping and strapping of finished goods for despatch

Perform collections and deliveries in a timely manner

Maintain a safe, clean and well organized work environment

Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations

Identify and escalate any issues relating to safety, quality, delivery, cost, environment and people
