The Role and Fit
As a senior clinical coder, you are well versed with assigning accurate and timely clinical codes to patient episodes using ICD10AM, DRG grouping according to standards and guidelines. Qualified through HIMAA and with relevant tertiary credentials, you are passionate about being expert in this role and bring a wealth of experience to the team, ideally gained in a large private or public hospital setting in Australia.
Continued learning and education is important to you as is working as part of a collaborative and supportive team. You are an excellent communicator who is passionate about delivering quality results, able to work autonomously and as part of a team, you are self-motivated, engaged and high performing.
