About the position:

Preparing income tax returns and financial statements for individuals, sole traders, companies, trusts, and self-managed superannuation funds.

Preparing Business Activity Statements and state tax returns, such as payroll tax and land tax.

Researching and consulting on a range of tax issues and drafting tax advice for our managers and partners.

Liaising with the ATO, OSR, clients, and other professionals to ensure the timely and accurate completion of tasks.

The ideal candidate:

A degree in accounting from an Australian institution

Completed or working towards a CA/CPA qualification.

At least 3+ years of experience in an Australian accounting firm.

Strong and proven cloud-based software skills, including Excel, Xero, and MYOB. Working experience with FYI will be a bonus.
