ProQuest Recruitment is leading the search for skilled industrial electricians to join our team on a night shift rotating pitman roster. The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems within an automated logistics facility, including refrigerated zones.

Working at the site in Auburn, you will play a key part in the successful operation of a 24 hour FMCG facility who are key players within their field. Working alongside team members and a brand with international exposure and presence, this experience you will gain will be highly advantageous in the evolving world of automation and warehouse automation.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Valid Australian Electrical Licence
• Proven industrial electrical experience (within maintenance and around automation)
• Yellow Card / Working at Heights
• White Card
• Your own tools at recognised Australian standards
• Adequate PPE including high visibility work wear, steel capped shoes, industrial safety glasses and gloves

Responsibilities:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in an industrial setting, including refrigerated zones at 2 degrees and - 5 degrees / -24 degrees
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Inspecting electrical components to ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes
• Physical capability to climb up and down fireman ladders and between machinery
• Collaborating with other maintenance and production team members to ensure minimal downtime
• Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures to minimize equipment failures
• Adhering to all safety and compliance regulations while performing electrical work
