We are seeking a motivated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our client's team. This is a hybrid role, combining hands-on fieldwork with in-office responsibilities. The successful candidate will install and maintain spray tanning equipment at customer locations across Australia and NZ and provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance both on site and remotely. You will work directly with customers and support teams to ensure equipment is installed on time, correctly, functioning optimally, and that all technical issues are resolved promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and configure spray tanning equipment at client locations, ensuring proper setup and operation.

Perform scheduled maintenance and repair work as needed.

Troubleshoot on-site issues, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems.

Handle incoming technical support calls and provide troubleshooting assistance to customers experiencing issues.

Log, track, and resolve support tickets efficiently, escalating complex issues when necessary.

Offer remote guidance to customers on usage, maintenance, and problem-solving for spray tanning equipment.

Provide hands-on training to clients on how to use and maintain their equipment.

Follow up with customers after installation to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs

Maintain accurate documentation of service visits, installations, and tech support logs.

Report recurring issues and potential improvements to the product and technical teams.

Your Profile:

Experience in field service, technical support, or a related role

Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills.

Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service equipment

Ability to work remotely, schedule and manage time and expenses well

Adapt to changing work schedules

Proficiency in using technical support software, ticketing systems, and related tools.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Strong independent working skills—ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision,

Organise your schedule, and solve problems effectively.

Comfortable with nationwide travel for on-site installations

Valid Drivers License and reliable vehicle required

Valid passport

Physically capable of handling the demands of on-site equipment installations, including lifting, bending, and working in various environments.

Technical certifications in electronics, HVAC, or similar fields are a plus.

Flexible hours may be needed based on customer schedules and emergencies.
