About the Role:

Due to continual growth of business, we are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Field Service Technician to support our Underground Coal mining customers in the Queensland Coal Fields.

As a Field Service Technician, you will play a pivotal role in the testing/ fault finding, repairing, installation, and commissioning of various pieces of underground mining equipment.

Areas of responsibility:

• Repair, install and commission Underground and surface equipment.
• Auditing, testing, breakdown assistance, and installation of Joy HFX equipment and systems specific to mining
• Maintenance experience to various OEM Continuous Miners and Multi-Bolters.
• Provide face to face support to our clients
• Work individually and in small teams across multiple UG Coal mines
• Provide timely and quality service-related reports following any site work completed.
• High travel demand due to the nature of the role

Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Previous underground mining experience
• Advanced Hydraulic Diagnosing and Schematic Reading.
• Commitment to safety for yourself and others
• Certificate III Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (Compulsory)
• Certificate IV Engineering (advantage)
• Fluid Power Certifications (advantage)
• National recognised High-Risk Licence
• CABA certificate an advantage
• Standard 11 Surface and Underground and current coal board medical (advantage)
• Valid Driver’s Licence (Compulsory)
• Be flexible, reliable and show initiative
