Hinterland Aviation, a premier regional airline in Queensland, boasts its Head Office and Heavy Maintenance division situated in Cairns. With a dynamic fleet featuring 15 turbine-powered aircraft, we are at the forefront of aviation in the region.

As we embark on an exciting phase of expansion, we are seeking a self-driven and meticulous B1 and or B2 License Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to become apart of our team in this full-time position in Cairns

Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in the introduction of the groundbreaking Cessna C408 Skycourier aircraft, marking a significant milestone as the first of its kind to take flight in Australia. Join us in shaping the future of aviation!

Successful candidates will need to have:

• CASA Part 66 Licence – B1 or B2
• Current ASIC card or be eligible to hold Australian ASIC;
• PT6 turbine licence essential.
• Airframe type rating and C208 experience highly desirable
• Capacity to refer to and interpret specifications/standards and written technical instructions
• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
• Excellent time management and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
