We are a private practice in Tweed Heads, only one block away from a beautiful walk along the Tweed River. Brain Care (previously trading as Solstice-Mind Matters) was established in 1992 to meet the needs of families, individuals and couples with a wide range of presenting concerns. Today, our facilities include beautifully furnished therapy rooms, a conference room, a kids’ playroom, and state-of-the-art neurotherapy equipment. Brain Care is a friendly, supportive, and collaborative environment that fosters good communication and teamwork.

We are currently looking for a fully registered psychologist, clinical or general, to join our clinic and play an important role in supporting the needs of our local community.

Your Role:

Provide assessments using a wide range of psychometric and neuropsychological assessments.

Offer therapeutic sessions for individuals, couples or families using evidence-based interventions.

Maintain accurate client records, including assessments, progress notes, and reports.

Ability to actively communicate and collaborate with the existing team within the clinic.

Work with a multidisciplinary team outside the clinic to support client outcomes.

Engage in communications with external agencies and other health professionals as necessary.

Your Skills:

Fully registered as a Psychologist with AHPRA.

Current membership with APS or AAPi.

Active ABN (for contractors or independent psychologists).

Able and willing to attain a Medicare Provider Number.

Updated insurance, including public liability and indemnity insurance to $20M.

All required checks for NDIS work, including WWC and NDIS Worker Screening.
