About the role
You will lead a team that will have the responsibility of cleaning the residential colleges at USQ. There are up to 500 in-house residents spread across 3 colleges, you will be charged with overseeing the cleaning all the facilities within these colleges.

Cleaning services are required 7 days a week although your working week will be from Monday to Friday, from 8am to 4pm, or as the business requires to get the job done well.

A minimum of 2 years experience in a cleaning supervisory or management position in a similar position, or for a busy hotel or motel, is a must.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Lead a team of up to 10 cleaners
• Responsible for the Cleaning of residential colleges rooms, bathrooms, lounge areas, kitchens, laundries, outdoors areas, dining and entertainment facilities
• A high level of communication both oral and written
• Engaging personality, confident and articulate
• A hands-on leader who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty
• Must be willing to lead by example
• A eye for detail and exceptional cleaning skills
• You must have your own reliable car to get to and from USQ
• If successful, you must willing to obtain a Blue card and pass a Police Check. Double vaccination is also a requirement.
