As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting, month-end closing, and financial reporting. You’ll work closely with our finance and operations teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Compliance

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) and relevant tax regulations (ATO).

Ensure timely BAS, GST, FBT, and income tax lodgements.

Budgeting & Forecasting

Assist in the development of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.

Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management for decision-making.

Audit & Internal Controls

Support internal and external audit processes.

Develop and maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies.

Systems & Software

Experience with accounting software; familiarity with Kingdee ERP is a strong advantage.

Work with the finance team to streamline systems and improve automation processes.

Flexible Work Arrangement

Ability to manage time effectively while working under a hybrid or remote model.

Must be self-motivated and able to work independently when needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma holder or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Mandarin speaking is highly preferred to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and clients.

Experience working in the automotive industry is highly preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Detail-minded, self-motivated, and capable of handling tasks independently with accuracy and efficiency.
