About the Role

We’re seeking a proactive, detail-driven accounting and payroll professional with a passion for driving change and making a real impact. In this role, you’ll lead end-to-end in-house payroll operations and broader finance objectives with precision and efficiency. As part of our emerging Centre of Excellence for finance and people operations, you’ll help build a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Joining us during an exciting organisational transformation, you’ll play a key role in shaping our future and making a lasting difference in a broad role spanning payroll, finance, and systems — perfect for an experienced accounting and payroll professional ready to elevate their career and drive real change.

What You'll Do:

Own the full payroll process: accurate, compliant, and efficient.

Own the people elements of financial control (FBT, leases, expenses, LSL etc)

Collaborate with HR and Finance to implement and streamline systems.

Maintain payroll records, process benefits, super, FBT, and tax obligations.

Lead payroll reporting, audits, and compliance updates.

Identify and implement process improvements.

Support employee queries with a high level of service.

What You'll Bring:

5+ years in finance/payroll with strong technical expertise.

Hands-on experience with ADP Payforce or similar systems.

Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.

Deep knowledge of PAYG, super, awards, and compliance requirements.

Problem solving mindset and an ability to hunt for answers

A professional, proactive attitude and commitment to excellence.

Qualifications:

Payroll certifications (e.g., Cert IV Payroll Admin) essential.

CA/CPA preferred but not essential
