Carpet Flooring Group are retailers for floor coverings, blinds (indoor / outdoor) & rugs. Stores are located in Gisborne, Kyneton, Kerang, Koondrook, Sunbury, Wallan, Kilmore, Castlemaine, Daylesford & Bendigo.

Carpet Flooring Group are looking for two employees to work across the Kyneton & Gisborne stores. One position will be full-time with the second position casual.

To be part of our team you will need to be computer literate eg word, excel, google drive & email, knowledge of accounting packages, calendars & one note, have excellent customer service skills within the retail sector eg flooring, blinds, home furnishings etc. The ability to work unsupervised is a must as the roles do require the successful candidates to be working alone. Training will be provided in all aspects of the role with support provided from our team members throughout our stores in central Victoria.

Responsibilities

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service

Maintain outstanding store condition & presentation

Ascertain customers’ needs and wants

Recommend items that match customer needs

Welcome and greet customers

Type quotes, invoices & receive payments

Order stock & co-ordinate installations

Keep up to date with product information

Accurately describe product features and benefits

Maintain records

Customer sales campaigns - send info & record

Follow all company policies and procedures

Requirements:

Proven working experience in retail sales

Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practice

Solid communication and interpersonal skills

Customer service focus

Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality

Basic administration skills
