The Role: Lead, Inspire, Thrive
As a leader in our studio, this role isn’t just about managing day-to-day operations – it’s about being the heartbeat of BFT Labrador. You’ll not only lead a team, but you’ll set the pace, push the limits and create an unforgettable experience for our members. We’re not looking for someone who’s comfortable just checking off tasks; we want someone who can inspire, elevate, and drive results.
On average, you will be working 20-25 hours on the floor and the rest of your time focusing on onboarding new members and retaining current members. We need someone who has equal passion for sales as they do coaching. We will provide any tools & resources that you need to succeed.

Lead by Example – Be the coach everyone looks up to with your passion, presence, reliability and drive.
Own the Ops – Keep things running like clockwork, from rosters to day-to-day logistics and planning events.
Grow the Community – Drive memberships, elevate retention and ensure every member feels like a VIP.
Create Killer Content – Show off our vibe, results and community across social platforms.
Fuel the Culture – Keep the energy high, the vibes strong and the community thriving.

What you’ll do:
Deliver an exceptional member experience: Coach with confidence, create a vibrant community atmosphere and ensure every member feels supported and inspired.
Drive business growth: Lead the charge on sales, retention, partnerships and the uptake of key programs (like our 8-Week Challenge).
Lead and collaborate: Partner with the Owner to align on goals, manage day-to-day operations and nurture a positive, high-performing team culture.
What we’re looking for:
Management Experience: Preferably at least 2 years in a leadership role in the fitness industry.
Qualifications: Minimum Cert III & IV in Fitness (Strength & Conditioning experience or a Ba. Exercise Science is a bonus, as is nutrition).
Certifications: Current First Aid & CPR certification.
Proven Performer: A track record of smashing sales, growth and retention targets.
People Person: Outgoing, reliable and passionate about connecting with others.
Growth Mindset: You’re always looking for ways to improve, learn and achieve more.
Leadership: You know how to manage teams, foster a positive and high-performing culture, and get the best out of people.
BFT Experience: Not essential, but if you’ve got experience as a BFT Coach, we’ll be even more excited.
