About the Role

We are seeking a legal professional to join GCDAY as a Lawyer and in house council. This critical position will be responsible for ensuring our organisation meets all legal and regulatory requirements for NDIS audits, protecting both our clients and our business.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert legal advice on NDIS compliance requirements and interpret regulatory changes

Develop and review internal policies and procedures to ensure alignment with NDIS Practice Standards

Prepare and review documentation for scheduled NDIS audits

Conduct internal compliance reviews and risk assessments

Train staff on legal compliance requirements and best practices

Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies during reviews

Implement corrective actions in response to audit findings

Stay current with evolving NDIS legislation and quality standards

Qualifications

Law degree with admission to practice in Australia

Demonstrated knowledge of NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework

Strong understanding of disability services and participant rights

Skills & Attributes

· Comprehensive understanding legislation and laws

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Excellence in attention to detail and adhering to compliance requirements

· Ability to work independently and meet recruitment targets.
