Your new company
This is a reputable insurance brokerage with several offices across Australia, who partner with a wide range of commercial and domestic clients across the country. They have a successful and experienced team to work with, and offer excellent career progression routes and training and development. This is a hybrid working role based in the Eastern suburbs with excellent transport routes.
Your new role
This role will see you work closely with a Senior Account Executive to support a book of commercial clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Handle front-counter payments and enquiries, and assist other brokers with general queries.
- Process new business, renewals, endorsements, and amendments to ensure excellent service.
- Respond to enquiries and requests from Account Executives and senior brokers promptly.
- Provide and follow up on quotations to ensure client satisfaction.
- Prepare correspondence for approval and update Claims Status reports regularly.
- Escalate and respond to customer complaints within specified timeframes, ensuring resolution.
- Monitor and assist with complaint resolution, acting with sensitivity and impartiality.
- Undertake professional development and maintain compliance with RG 146.
- Acquire knowledge of clients' industries, the insurance market, and company products.
- Work effectively with team members and management, keeping them informed and respecting their contributions.
- Adhere to company policies and principles, supporting organisational goals and maintaining confidentiality.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role, you will have or be working towards Certificate III or IV and your Tier 2 qualification. You will have knowledge of insurance broking or the broader insurance industry, and possess excellent customer service skills. You will be a confident communicator and able to build good relationships both internally with your team and externally with clients, and be able to use technology effectively.
