About the Role
Our client is seeking experienced Registered Midwives to join a family-friendly and supportive Maternity Unit. You will play a key clinical role, working alongside dedicated Obstetricians, Paediatricians and nursing staff to provide high-quality care throughout the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal journey.

We also welcome applications from Registered Nurses with Special Care Nursery experience who are passionate about maternal and new-born health.

What We’re Looking For
We're seeking dynamic and compassionate professionals with:

Essential Criteria:

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife

Minimum 3 years’ experience in Maternity services

Degree in Nursing and Health Management or equivalent

Confidence and competence in Delivery Suite, Antenatal, Special Care and Postnatal Units

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

Computer literacy, including experience with clinical reporting systems

Excellent time management and initiative

Understanding of continuous quality improvement

Full immunisation status (including COVID-19 and seasonal influenza), with supporting serology

Desirable Criteria:

Ongoing engagement with professional groups

Experience in delivering patient education within a maternity setting

Involvement in maternity policy and procedure development
