We are delighted to invite applications for the position of a full time head chef for our state-of-the-art sports bar.

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and experienced professional who can manage the daily operations of our kitchen and ensure that our guests have an unforgettable experience.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the kitchen's daily operations, including the opening and closing of the kitchen and ensuring that the staff performs their duties effectively and efficiently.

- Provide top quality, consistent meals to ensure our customers have a repeatedly positive experience.

- Manage the inventory of food costs and place orders when necessary to ensure there are no stock-outs that compromise our guest’s satisfaction.

- Manage and maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen to ensure a safe and healthy environment for both staff and guests.

- Train and mentor new staff members to perform their duties effectively and to high standards.

- Collaborate with the front of house management to come up with specials and effectively handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback.

Requirements:

- A passion for cooking and an eager drive to work hard and build up a strong menu our customers will love.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- The ability to interact positively with staff and show good leadership skills.

- A flexible schedule, which includes, weekends and holidays.

- Knowledge of monitoring food costs and creating a menu around it.

- A passion for the hospitality and leisure industry.

-Worked in a restaurant/pub setting prior.
