Your new company

Your new company is a family-owned business in the ACT specialising in the supply and manufacture of a broad range of steel products to the ACT residential and commercial industry. After promoting internally due to business growth, they are now seeking team leads for the install and factory teams.

Your new role

In your new role, you will be leading a team of up to 6 staff either in the factory fabricating steel products or on-site doing installations, depending on your skill set.
This business fabricates and installs a range of products from steel for residential dwellings to architectural metal as well as automated sliding gates, so each job will be different. This role will see you working amongst a fluid team of fabricators and installers working towards the same goal of providing outstanding service.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role you will need the following:

• The ability to read and interpret workshop and site drawings
  
• Demonstrated team lead experience, ideally in a similar role
  
• Qualification as a boilermaker/fabricator and a strong background in steel fabrication/installation
  
• A valid white card, asbestos awareness and silica awareness card
  
• A current LF high risk forklift licence, MR truck licence and/or rigging licence are all highly desirable.

• Work full-time hours at $40-$50 p/hour + superannuation and all industry allowances and overtime pay when required.
