We’re excited to partner with a well-established, values-driven NFP organisation currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join their dynamic PMO team in Sydney. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who’s passionate about driving project governance and supporting the successful delivery of enterprise-wide initiatives.
Our client is a reputable and forward-thinking organisation with a strong emphasis on collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development. As they continue to invest in project delivery excellence, they are looking for a dedicated Project Coordinator to support strategic initiatives and help uplift PMO capability across the business.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of PMO, you’ll work closely with Project Managers, Change Managers, IT stakeholders, and business leaders to:
- Maintain project resource planning and allocation data;
- Track and report on program benefits and project outcomes;
- Assist with preparation of portfolio reports and internal governance documentation;
- Ensure proper cost allocation for project resources;
- Provide administrative and coordination support including agendas, minutes, and action tracking;
- Help refine project and portfolio management frameworks; and
- Champion platform efficiencies and tool adoption across teams.
This is a broad and impactful role with visibility across senior leadership and multiple business units.
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Degree qualifications in Business, IT, or a related field;
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
- An organised and analytical mindset with a proactive approach;
- Experience in a project support, coordination, or PMO role within fast-paced environments;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and PMO tools such as Monday.com; and
- Understanding of project methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMBOK, or Agile frameworks.
Desirable experience includes:
- Previous experience in a PMO team supporting large-scale programs;
- Exposure to financial services, insurance, or tech-driven environments; and
- Experience with MS Project, project financial tracking, and Agile delivery methods.
