About the role

Astec Australia is seeking a motivated and organised Sales Administrator to join our team in Acacia Ridge, Queensland. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our sales team and ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment sales processes.

What you'll be doing

Manage and maintain customer and sales-related records and databases

Process customer orders, invoices, and other sales documentation

Assist with the preparation of sales proposals, quotations, and other client-facing materials

Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of products

Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling and coordination of appointments

Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service

Support the implementation of sales strategies and initiatives

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a sales administration or customer service role, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing industry

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, sales team, and other stakeholders

Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook

Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
