We’re on the hunt for an Exercise Physiologist - Team Lead to help us with our mission to connect people to a healthier life. This isn’t just about clinical work (though you’ll still get to treat patients!); it’s also about stepping up as a leader—coaching, mentoring, and inspiring a team of clinicians. Lead clincians located from Illawarra to Campbelltown.
What you’ll do
- Lead with Heart: Inspire and manage a team of mobile Exercise Physiologists helping them grow, thrive, and smash their professional goals
- Mentor Extraordinaire: Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and support to team members, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
- Performance Guru: Monitor team performance ensuring teams are achieving outcomes, celebrate wins, and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Patient Hero: Prescribe personalised treatment plans to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
- Data Dynamo: Track patient progress and outcomes, preparing detailed reports to share with relevant stakeholders.
- Referrer Engagement: Regularly meet with established referral network to grow referral volumes and caseloads for your team.
- Collaborate: Work closely as part of a multi-disciplinary team including specialists, GP’s, vocational rehab, injury managers and other allied health professionals to ensure seamless operations and stellar patient care.

What we’re looking for
- 3 years prior experience working as an AEP is essential
- Membership with ESSA as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist
- Previous experience leading a team would be awesome
- We know compensable rehabilitation well, prior experience here would be great but experience in Aged Care/NDIS or private clinics would also be advantageous.
- Unwavering level of service provided to all customers/ stakeholders

Guardian Exercise Rehabilitation’s provides prescription of therapeutic exercise based-programs for individuals afflicted with injury or illness, principally under a compensable-injury policy, principally across Workers’ Compensation, Life Insurance/Income Protection and Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) / Compulsory Third Party (CTP) schemes.
