With its head office based in Melbourne's CBD, this growing industrial company is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to assist with the development and implementation of robust processes and procedures as they embark on the implementation of a new (outsourced) payroll system.

The Role

Working collaboratively with the Human Resources Manager this role will see you take ownership of the payroll function. Your duties will include:

* Working closely with project / transformation team to ensure successful implementation of new outsourced payroll system
* Partner with system provider to ensure the best go-live outcome
* Understanding & interpretation of multiple EBAs and awards
* Payroll reconciliation
* Employee database maintenance including the adding of new employees
* Payroll compliance, superannuation, payroll tax, workers' compensation, PAYG
* Month-end reporting
* Payroll query resolution
* ADP

Your Profile

The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:

- Ability to take ownership of a role
- A high degree of accuracy & ability to work to deadlines
- Experience and working knowledge with payroll systems
- Ability to quickly pick up systems & processes
- Understanding of awards & EBAs
- Previous ADP payroll experience
