About the role

We are seeking a driven and experienced Property Manager to join our team at Northern Suburbs Realty in Glenorchy, TAS. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties and providing exceptional customer service to our landlords and tenants. This full-time role is an integral part of our Residential Leasing & Property Management team.

What you'll be doing

Effectively managing a portfolio of residential properties, including leasing, inspections, maintenance coordination and tenant management

Conducting regular property inspections and providing detailed reports to landlords

Ensuring properties are well-maintained and tenant-ready

Effectively handling tenant enquiries, lease renewals, rent reviews and arrears management

Proactively marketing available properties to secure quality tenants

Keeping up-to-date with relevant legislation and regulations in the property management industry

Providing exceptional customer service to both landlords and tenants

What we're looking for

At least 1 years' proven experience in a property management role

Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities

A thorough understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act and other relevant legislation

A current real estate license or the ability to obtain one

Proficient in using property management software and MS Office suite
