Seeking a commercially astute Procurement Category Manager to lead the strategy, sourcing, and supplier engagement for Professional Services, with a key focus on Technology Services panels. This is a pivotal role supporting the evolution of the tech procurement strategy, with an eye on future-facing capabilities including Generative AI.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end category management for Professional Services with a specialisation in Technology Services procurement;
• Oversee the governance, sourcing, and optimisation of Technology Services panels, ensuring alignment with business and compliance objectives;
• Partner with senior stakeholders across IT, Legal, Finance, and Risk to enable innovation, service delivery, and cost efficiencies; and
• Identify and act on market trends, particularly in emerging tech such as Generative AI, to future-proof the category strategy.

About you

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing and category management, ideally within Professional Services or Technology Services;
• Deep understanding of technology procurement models, panels, and commercial frameworks;
• Demonstrated success managing complex supplier ecosystems and influencing senior internal stakeholders;
• Familiarity with emerging technologies—experience with or interest in Gen AI solutions highly regarded; and
• Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills.
