About the Role:

We're looking for a skilled AEM Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of robust and scalable solutions using Adobe Experience Manager. In this role, you will work on backend development tasks including component creation, workflow integration, and custom functionality, collaborating with front-end developers, architects, and QA teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend functionality for AEM websites and applications
• Create custom AEM components, templates, services, and workflows using Java and Sling
• Integrate AEM with third-party APIs, services, and enterprise systems
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and reliability
• Collaborate with front-end developers to implement and maintain seamless UI integration
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies
• Maintain documentation for developed features and solutions

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) backend development
• Strong proficiency in Java, Sling, OSGi, JCR (Apache Jackrabbit), and RESTful APIs
• Experience with AEM 6.x or higher including authoring, publishing, and dispatcher
• Familiarity with build tools such as Maven and version control systems like Git
• Experience in integrating AEM with external systems and services
• Good understanding of software development best practices and design patterns

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Adobe I/O, Adobe Target, and Adobe Analytics
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as Adobe Cloud Manager or AWS
• AEM certification is a plus
