Seeking an enthusiastic and well-presented candidate to fill a retail sales assistant role in an antique jewellery shop in the Strand Arcade, Sydney. This position is suitable for part-time university students, and offers a foray into the Jewellery Industry. If you are looking to gain experience and expertise in a fast-paced specialised retail environment, this is the job for you! This position is also suited for those looking to gain experience in a customer-facing retail role, business management, and marketing.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Interacting one-on-one with customers, and maintaining a high standard of customer service
• Sales procedures, including Point of Sale
• Setting up and packing up shop displays, cleaning and maintenance of overall shop appearance
• Upskilling in social media and online retailing

• Eager to learn about gemstones, materials, jewellery manufacturing, design, and history
• Experience using Social Media, and a keen interest in Marketing and Photography
• Proficiency using Office Suite and Photoshop are an advantage in this role, further skill development is offered
• Available 3 days a week, and throughout the Christmas/New Years holiday period
