About the role

Battery World Rocklea is looking for a Casual Sales Assistant to join our team. This role will involve assisting customers with their battery and automotive accessory needs in a fast-paced retail environment. Unlike many retail roles, you will be hands on fitting many of our products to mobile phones, watches, cars and trucks and much more.

This roll is initially offered as a causal employee with 2-3 shifts per week, however as a casual employee, you will have the flexibility to work any available shifts that fit your schedule.

What you'll be doing

Providing excellent customer service and product knowledge to help customers find the right battery or accessory for their needs

Assisting with inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising displays

Handling cash and card transactions

Maintaining a clean and organised store and workshop environment

Supporting the team with any other tasks as required

What we're looking for

Availability to work regular Saturdays shifts

Customer service experience, preferably in a retail or automotive environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work both as part of a team and independently

Safe and effective use of hand tools

Flexibility and enthusiasm for providing excellent customer service

Interest in 4x4, camping or electrical
