ROLE OUTLINE:

To ensure a timely and adequate supply of sterile surgical equipment and instruments for surgical procedures adhering to up to date infection prevention and control policies as well as other departmental policies including AS/NZ Standard 4187:2014.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

Certificate III in Sterilisation Services (HLT37015)

Minimum 12 months experience in CSSD position

Adequate knowledge and understanding of AS/NZ Standard 5369:2023

Ability to communicate and cooperate with surgical team

Excellent time management skills

Work effectively with minimal direct supervision

This role would suit someone who is looking for a second job or semi retired, given the nature of varying hours.

The role is based on a fortnightly rotating roster- forecasting up to 25 hours per fortnight.

No weekend work.
