About the role
Temporary opportunity to provide exposure to clinical services at a large tertiary referral centre with the aim to transition to independent consultant level practice.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Comply with and utilise procedures, policies, regulations and standards which impact upon the position, including contemporary human resource management requirements and practices, such as workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination policies.
- Operate as professionally responsible to the Director of Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine.
- Provide ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goals.
- Provide specialist anaesthetic, analgesic and related services for patients undergoing elective and emergency procedures at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital including obstetric patients.
- Undertake anaesthetic outpatient consultations, pre-operative assessments and consultations and other specialist services as required.
