We are seeking an experienced Research and Editorial Content Coordinator to join our team at Creative Edge Australia. Based in our beautiful Gold Coast Head Office in Surfers Paradise, this role requires exceptional copywriting and organisational skills.
We’re looking for someone who thrives on research, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys work both independently and collaboratively within our production team. The ideal candidate is confident, takes initiative, and is excited to be part of a dynamic and growing company

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Research, contact, and pitch to leading industry associations about partnerships and contributing complimentary editorial content to our resource guides and online platforms.
Research funding and grant information (e.g., budget reports, grant announcements) and update relevant website pages (wix and wordpress) across the education, healthcare, childcare, and fitness sectors.
Vigilantly deep dive into and stay up-to-date with the latest funding and grant information, communicating updates to the team for release through social media and monthly funding EDMs.
Source and edit well-crafted, high-quality editorial content for multiple industry-specific resource guides across the sectors we represent.
Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with well established associations.
Conduct interviews and write editorial pieces on behalf of associations when necessary.
Proofread resource guides before they go to print to ensure accuracy and quality.
Stay informed on current news and developments across education, aged care, healthcare, and childcare sectors Australia wide.
Monitor and update the flat plan for publications.
Collaborate with graphic designers and creative coordinators on publication layouts.
Write and proofread content for company websites when required.
Assist clients (preferred suppliers) with their advertorial copy when necessary.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Strong research skills and ability to stay updated on industry news and trends.
Excellent editorial writing, and proofreading skills.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong understanding of the English language, including grammar, punctuation and spelling.
Proven ability to build and maintain ongoing professional relationships with contributing associations and clients.
Computer proficiency, including Google Docs, Gmail, and Spreadsheets.
Confidence in phone and zoom communication and pitching to clients and associations.
Experience in sourcing, editing, and curating high-quality content.
Ability to conduct interviews with clients and write compelling editorial pieces.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.
Strong organisational, time management and multitasking skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Familiarity with ChatGPT and AI-generated content, with the ability to edit and enhance where necessary.
Experience collaborating with design and creative teams on publication layouts.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable but not essential
Experience with Wix and Wordpress website content updates.
Proficiency in our CRM software (Hubspot)
Experience working within healthcare, early learning and education sectors.
