The Role

As a Senior Accountant or Supervisor, you will work closely with a Senior Manager and step into a leadership role, providing tailored tax planning, participating in client meetings, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Preparing financial statements, tax returns, BAS, and compliance work for companies, trusts, and high-net-worth individuals
• Providing tailored tax planning, structuring, and business advisory services
• Participating in client meetings to offer proactive, strategic advice on financial matters
• Supporting businesses with financial operations and insights, with involvement in the Virtual CFO/Outsourced Finance function team
• Mentoring and supporting junior team members to foster their professional development

The Ideal Person

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has 3–5 years of public practice experience, holds a degree in accounting or finance, and has either completed or is working towards their CA/CPA qualification.

You will be known for your strong leadership, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a proactive approach to client service and the ability to build lasting professional relationships.

Additionally, knowledge of Xero is highly regarded. Most importantly, you are a positive and passionate individual who will contribute to a great work culture.

Salary / Rate

• $90k - $130k + Super – a broad range is on offer, commensurate with your experience and potential
• Full-time (part-time considered)
