As the Finance Officer you will undertake a range of corporate card compliance activities for Hospital and Health Services and the Department of Health. You will also be responsible for providing state-wide business and user support to corporate card users.

What you'll do

You will:

  • Adhere to approved business processes, procedures, and internal process controls.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and service providers to investigate / resolve card compliance matters.
  • Provide input to and assistance with other Banking and Payment Services activities as required.
  • Ensure adherence to contemporary human resource management practices with reference to employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety, and ethical behaviour.

About you

We are searching for someone who has:

  • Sound knowledge of relevant financial policy, standards, and procedures applicable in a large complex organisation with experience in providing advice to clients.
  • Demonstrated ability in use of financial information management systems and Microsoft applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to process data accurately within defined timeframes and investigate/resolve processing issues as they arise.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills in communicating and negotiating with clients, stakeholders, and external service providers.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully prioritise and manage a range of activities with conflicting timeframe
