At Warragul Toyota we are a proudly owned West Gippsland family business. We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, experienced and ambitious Parts 2IC to join our dedicated Parts.

The Role:
As Parts 2IC, you will be a key leader within our Parts Department. You will assist in overseeing the daily operations of the parts team, ensuring that our customers both internal and external receive excellent customer service and specialist knowledge. Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Parts Manager in the day-to-day operations of the Parts Department.

Manage stock levels, inventory, and ordering to ensure adequate stock level’s are maintained.

Supervise and support the parts team, providing guidance and training to new and existing staff.

Handle customer inquiries and parts sales, offering professional advice and exceptional customer service.

Ensure accurate documentation and reporting for stock movements, orders, and sales.

Monitor and ensure compliance with safety standards and dealership procedures.

Act as a point of contact for escalated customer concerns or complex parts requests.

Assist in the training and development of team members to build a skilled and efficient workforce.

Skills & Experience Required:

Previous experience in a Parts or Automotive role, with leadership experience being highly regarded.

Excellent product knowledge and understanding of automotive parts and inventory management.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Exceptional communication and customer service skills.

Strong problem-solving ability with a keen attention to detail.

A proactive and motivated attitude with a passion for team development.

Desirable:

Experience with Toyota parts management systems Tune and Microcat will be highly regarded.

Previous experience in a 2IC or leadership role within a parts department.
