The Person

Likes to do a job well and has an eye for detail

Physically fit

Has knowledge about gardens

Can communicate clearly and is able to work well in a team

Is keen to learn and is able to follow instructions well

Has a positive attitude with attention to safety and care

Can work with minimal supervision and take initiative

Well presented, reliable and punctual

The Tasks and Responsibilities

Moving materials (barrow work, mulching, soil and stones)

Working on Ladders

Pruning, hedging and trimming

Landscaping, paving, lawn installations, etc.

Competent with general machinery: mower, whipper, hedger, pruner, blower, spray weeding, welding etc

Garden maintenance (mowing, whipper-snipping, weeding, etc)

Additional Requirements

A Police Check will be required

Current driver’s licence is needed

White card may be needed

A drug and alcohol or medical screening by GP may be requested

Employment Conditions

Casual Position

1-5 days per week, hours 9-5:30pm

Pay is competitive and will grow with the right person
