About Us

Narrabundah College is located in Narrabundah and has approximately 950 year 11 & 12 students. The Narrabundah College P&C Association runs the college canteen on a not-for-profit basis. The canteen operates five days per week during school term, between the hours of 8.30am and 2:00 pm. The canteen serves the entire school community providing meals, snacks, drinks and hot beverages.

About the Role

We are looking for a person to join our friendly, small team, working regularly between 10:00 am and 2:30 pm, Tuesday to Friday (four days per week) during school terms.

You will generally be working with one other person, undertaking a range of tasks.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• cooking and preparing hot and cold food and drinks

• serving food and drinks to students and teachers over a counter

• handling cash payments and electronic funds transfers

• cleaning and maintenance of serving areas and equipment

• following relevant Occupational Health and Safety regulations as they apply to the maintenance of a safe work environment, food service, preparation and delivery

• demonstrating and supporting the college’s values and behaviour expectations,

and

• having fun!

You will either have a completed a working with vulnerable people check or be prepared to obtain one. You may also be requested to undertake a police record check.
