The Pharmacy Retail Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy’s retail section. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, retail management experience, and a passion for customer service in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and lead the retail team, including recruitment, training, and performance management

Ensure excellent customer service is delivered at all times

Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to ensure product availability

Implement visual merchandising and maintain a clean, organized sales floor

Work with the pharmacy team to coordinate promotions, product launches, and health campaigns

Analyse sales performance and identify opportunities for growth

Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, health & safety standards, and pharmacy regulations

Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in retail pharmacy, health, or beauty environment, preferably in a leadership capacity

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing high-performing teams

Strong organisational and excellent communication skills are crucial

Experience with pharmacy POS systems and stock management software is an advantage

Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Certificate II in Community Pharmacy essential
