Bookings Administration – Full Time / Part Time Options

About the Client:
Our client is a WA owned local manufacturer of Hydration and Natural Springwater products, servicing various clients locally and in the mining industry. Their continued growth has led to them requiring an experienced Administration person to assist them in keeping up with demand. This opportunity suits applicants who have strong communication, data entry and organisational skills. Additionally, you will be proactive and have sufficient motivation to assist the company as they move forward in their industry.
About the Role:
The day-to-day of this role is varied, as such, an “all hands on deck” mentality is crucial to being successful in it. Working alongside the General Manager, you may find yourself completing standard data entry, scheduling and managing orders, ensuring despatch teams receive correct information, invoicing / AP, or at times learning and assisting with some basic warehouse tasks.
The administrative side of the role will take up 20-30 hours per week, so could suit someone who is looking to reduce their hours but maintain a role that keeps them busy and thinking. Having said this, the opportunity for full time work is available, however surplus hours will most probably be helping with warehouse tasks.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate is someone with previous experience in a range of admin and clerical roles who is confident in the use of basic Microsoft applications. Additionally, there is a new MRP system being integrated so previous experience with similar programs and XERO, as well as an ability to adapt to new systems will be looked upon favourably.
Attention to detail is vital as incorrect data entry or information going to despatch can be very costly, as well as negatively impact on client satisfaction. Strong communication skills and an ability to have open discussions with the GM on things like process improvement will also be highly valuable.
